In only its first year, the Lakota Nation Invitational track meet is drawing rave reviews from fans, coaches and athletes who all say the event, "Had that LNI feel about it."
With each event being contested for the first time, every event winner set a meet record with some of those MEET RECORDS being VERY, VERY fast.
Lower Brule's Jayshawn Milton scorched the 100 field with a time of 10.71 (Record), but, he had some company with eight guys running under 12-flat.

Milton, participating in a fund-raising basketball camp Saturday morning visited with Sioux coach Zeke Prado about that 100 meters.
Waln won the 200 meters with a sizzling 22.21 with Milton finishing 2nd, 22.51
Milton won the 400 meters - 52.22
Milton won the high jump 6-foot-2
