As expected, the Burke South/Central Cougars are in contention at the Class B state tournament. But, they have some company!

Through nine holes on Tuesday morning, Indahl and Bull have separated from the field. The Cougar teammates are six shots clear of their next Class B competitor. 

Gregory's JJ Beck on top of the Class B leaderboard through six holes: 


Beck shot a first-round 77 and was one-shot behind the leader, Devan Weelborg of Hamlin who shot a 76. Tied with Beck after the first-round was Platte-Geddes freshman, Brody Boltjes.

Early in Tuesday's final pairing, Beck had the medalist lead but was just tied by Judah Aderhold of Aberdeen Christian. 

Great-Plains Lutheran is leading the team competition midway through Tuesday's round. Platte-Geddes is holding onto the No. 2 slot.
