Didn’t get to see any game-film on the Canton at Chamberlain game but boy, after Canton thumped Sioux Falls Christian last week, 29-12, suddenly that season opening loss, 23-6 to the No. 2 ranked C-Hawks has piqued my interest.
Every time I scroll through Laura Halverson-Hutmacher’s photos I come away seeing some beef up front.
Big Stable of RB’s running behind some BEEF!
Those RB’s over in Chamberlain are starting to pound people. In the 49-6 win over Wagner Rossow and Hawk were bullish with their production.
Remmington Rossow: 16 carries 130 yards - 2 TD’s
Isaac Hawk: 14 carries and 99 yards - TD
Keep seeing this Brandt Gullicksen show up in the pictures and the stats:
Not to be left out Hayden Evans had 93 yards rushing and a TD…Brant Gullicksen had 111 yards receiving and a TD (86-yard scoring strike from a very experienced Jazz Dominguez.
Scoring Summary from Wagner: First quarter
C: Remington Rossow 24 run (Max Donovan kick)
C: Brant Gullickson 86 pass from Jazz Dominguez (Donovan kick)
C: Nash Hutmacher 1 run (Donovan kick)
W: Preston Nedved 31 pass from Jaden Peters (Dustin Honomichl kick)
C: Hutmacher 2 run (Donovan kick)
C: Rossow 40 run (Donovan kick)
C: Issac Hawk 17 run (Donovan kick)
C: Hayden Evans 91 run (Donovan kick)
I guess the one thing that stands out amongst pictures I’ve seen is the guys up front look pretty BEEF
Big game with Groton this week: Last season in Groton Chamberlain got beat 17-7. Groton opened the season with a 27-7 loss to Aberdeen Roncalli and then wins over a North Dakota and a 35-0 blanking of Sisseton.
Last week Groton lost 35-32 to a 3-1 Beresford squad that lost to No. 11 B squad, BEE 14-6 on Aug 17.
Region 1 is looking crowded:
McLaughlin 3-0, 43.0003
MOPO 2-1, 41.3332
Roncalli 2-2, 40.7502
Groton 2-2, 39.25
Same with the Rugged Region 3, 11B
BEE, 3-0, 47.00
MVP 4-0, 43.2504
Chamberlain 2-1, 40.3332
Cubs looking for that first signature win since really upgrading schedules over the past few years. Can’t wait to see the photos
Lady Cubs hosting Lady Falcons with Big Dakota looming:
Chamberlain girls are 3-2 on the season and coach Amy Donovan has a senior-laden, 3-3 Todd County team coming in. A nice little tuneup for both squads with seeding for the Big Dakota tournament Saturday to be released Wednesday.
The pictures I’m really looking forward to are those from Thursday’s Chamberlain Invitational cross country meet. There will be some battles!!
Always LOVE the Chamberlain Invite….It is one of the first big-time meets of the year for central South Dakota. Talked with Garretson’s Jason Bohl and of course the Blue Dragons are coming. A really great meet with a lot of teams getting a first look at each other. Always feel like Garry Winter and the rest of the folks put on such a good meet…
Whoa, there have been some legendary battles on this course in Mid-September! At any rate, good luck this week Chamberlain…Can’t wait to see the PICTURES!!
Don’t forget about this meet being two meets: Serves as the Big Dakota Conference meet, but the Chamberlain Invitational combines Big Dakota athletes against an open and competitive field…Watch our for White River Boys…Just saying…
