Sacred Hoops Athletes (Rama & Bizardie) collide in MONSTER 11-man tilt out west

By Rich Winter

Really excited to check out tonight’s Red Cloud at Todd County game tonight as two of the best basketball players in South Dakota go head-to-head in a big-time 11-man clash in Mission.

Rama, who signed to play with the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology a few weeks back is as good of a dual threat QB as you will find in the 11B ranks.

Red Cloud is 3-1, only loss of the season, 19-16 in OT to a Lead/Deadwood squad that is currently 4-1

L to Lead 16-19

W vs. Pine Ridge 46-26

W vs. CEB 52-0

W vs. St. Francis Indian 57-0

Todd County is 3-1 on the season, with the only loss coming, on the road at No. 1 11A team Dakota Valley. Bizardie is solid at QB going 19-28 for the year with 375 yards, 6 TD’s and 2 INT.

A lot of Sacred Hoops connections going tonight:

Riyen Carlow, left is a speedy junior wide-receiver and someone Rama will look to when things get tight. Carlow was on Christian McGhee’s West River 16-u squad (he’s a handful). At right, Riyen’s mom, Amanda Carlow who was the coach of the Sacred Hoops, All-Native 17-U squad.

If ya get a minute this evening, check the game out as it will be webcast at 7:00 P.M.
