Well, with both Sully Buttes programs not being ‘quite’ as strong as a year ago, there are a bunch of teams in Region 2B that are battling for region honors, and perhaps, a run to the Round-of-16.

A big win last night for Mike Ring’s Lady Pirates….who improved to 5-4 on the season…

Highmore-Harrold (5-4): Oakley Jandreau racked up 22 points and 15 rebounds for a double-double, while Taylor Chavez tallied 13 points and Grace Knox finished with 12. Halle Tvedt pitched in nine boards. The Pirates play Hitchcock-Tulare in the 281 Conference tournament Monday in Huron.

That Hitchcock-Tulare game should be a dandy as the Lady Patriots are 3-5…someone is going on to the finals of the 281 tournament.
