Cecilio Montgomery and the CEB Braves are making some NOIZE up NORTH

By Rich Winter

During the first-ever Sacred Hoops Basketball show yesterday, Directors Allan Bertram and Jordan Long spent a few minutes talking about Lance Eagle Staff’s 7-2 Braves….

Despite going 2-2 at Lakota Nation, Eagle Staff’s crew played White River to a 69-53 game, and lost 70-69 to a Little Wound squad that is 6-2 and coming off an impressive road-win over Groton, 75-62.

(So, can’t get the volume any higher on the clip attached but essentially, Coach Bertram is talking about CEB being a Round-0f-16 squad and that anyone that has to play CEB better strap it on and do some film study on how to stop one of the most un-guard-able players in South Dakota (Cecilio Montgomery)….Coach Long chips in at the end speaking about the fall camp in CEB where Montgomery attended all day, helped the custodian sweep floors heading into the night section…

And then, after six hours of being in the gym, Montgomery asked if he and a couple other Braves could stay and shoot for a bit.)

A very impressive week for the Eagle Staff coached Braves.
