Just got done watching the entirety of White River’s 77-73 home win over White River…
Wow, there are not enough superlatives to describe the level of play between two, VERY-good basketball games. For anyone running into MacKenzie Casey’s Mustangs, ya better bring it because Little Wound is a dangerous basketball squad. At one point, the Mustangs were up by 16 points (third quarter)…and White River was in DEEP foul trouble with Tyson Iyotte, Luke Wells and Nick Sayler all playing with four fouls late in that game.
One of the subs that really stood out was White River junior, Tanner Young.
Ever since he transferred he has been one of the hardest workers on the team.
He loves to learn, he’s always open minded. He works out with me in Norris or in WR and he battles me.
He can play!
He played big minutes and made big plays on a SPRAINED ANKLE! I was very proud of his performance.
With so many guys in foul trouble, Young came off the bench about 20 times during an Eldon Marshall sub for defense strategy…And the kid executed…Got his hands on a number of loose balls, had a couple steals…
Take a look at a clip we’ve pulled from TeamICEradio
On just this one play….check out all the LITTLE things that Tanner Young does.
Tell ya folks, if you want to watch a great high-school game, check it out….https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbrYPj0phcM
