Not sure if it was the heavy graduation losses or an early 58-49 L in Winner but a lot of people, self included seemed to forget about Brian White’s Sully Buttes Chargers…Surely the losses of Lincoln Jordre and Jacob Howard (15 points, 16 in the 58-55 win over CWL) would have an impact…

The Chargers made their first appearance in the Class B media poll this week, going from unranked to No. 4

Class B

1. White River (12) 12-0 99 3

2. Clark/Willow Lake (10) 8-0 94 2

5. Aberdeen Christian 11-1 17 5

Receiving votes: Viborg-Hurley 8, Timber Lake 4, Hanson 1.

Big win for the Chargers last week, 67-57 in OT over Timber Lake…In that game, Nick Wittler, who has been on a tear got some help from his buddies.

Potter County 7-4, 43.8

Chargers should take care of Hitchcock/Tulare (1-10) tonight and then a nice test on Saturday vs. 8-2 Warner. Looking ahead, a bit to the Round-of-16, where if things go well, Sully Buttes should advance…
