Don't expect Lorisa Broughton's Corsica-Stickney Jaguars to be a one-hit-wonder

Caught up with Corsica-Stickney girls coach Lorisa Broughton a few weeks back to visit about this years team and the young nucleus of athletes that will have this team near the top of the Class B girls rankings for the next few years.

  1. Courtney Menning has been a stalwart for this PROGRAM for the last few years

  2. 8th-grader Avery Broughton is the third Broughton child to come through the program, behind two really, really good siblings.

    So far in post-season play the Jaguars have been rock solid with a 61-19 win over Gregory and a 61-29 win over AC/DC.

On Thursday, all attention switches to the Girls SoDak 16, in which, the No. 4 Jaguars take on defending state champ, No. 13 Castlewood.
