Rivalries Galore as All-Nations Football kicks off September 6

By Rich Winter

Just got off a call with Lower Brule football coach Zeke Prado for a little chit-chat about the upcoming high-school football season and the launch of THEE All-Nations football conference.

Check out opening weekend on September 6:

Week One ‐

Sept 6 Crazy Horse at Cheyenne‐Eagle Butte

Marty at Tiospa Zina Red Cloud at Lower Brule

Little Wound at Crow Creek

Oelrichs at St. Francis

Takini at Flandreau Indian

Couple things before I share the interview but:

  • Flandreau Indian has previously only played JV football…Varsity will be joining this conference.

  • The Marty Braves loom as a dangerous unknown from out east.

  • Lower Brule and Crow Creek play during the fall Lakota Nation Invitational on September 27

  • Red Cloud and Little Wound will be playing nine-man football…And THEY, also play on LNI weekend, Sep. 27.
