With just a few months until the high-school football season, one to watch this fall is Lower Brule’s Mykael Loera-Prado. (Track photo courtesy of Bonnie Law)

Had been meaning to write a little note on Lower Brule junior Mykael Loera-Prado. Rare to see a Lower Brule sprinter excel on the biggest of stages but this young man recently made the finals of the Class B 100 meter dash where he finished 8th.
That alone is pretty cool, but the fact that this young man is better at football, and has a deep passion for the game suggests we are going to see some fireworks this fall. Lower Brule will be entering the All-Nations Football Conference, and Loera-Prado from the looks of his skill set, as performed at a camp on the campus of Northern Colorado, suggests this guy is the real deal.
Check out the footwork, check out the hands, check out his attention to detail on drills and route running!
We know this young man is fast, check out how quick he is during drills….Looks like he’s put some time in the weight room as well!
