Always fun to check in on the Miller Rustlers, and plenty to check in about as the girls from Miller have been doing some serious damage over the last few weeks.

Kayde Fernholz

First of all, can’t wait to see some of the summer volleyball league photos as Coach Linda DeBoer prepares for what should be another superb season this fall. Senior Kayde Fernholz is among the top volleyball players in South Dakota and it will be fun to see her this next season put the stamps on a brilliant career for Miller.

First-Team All-State volleyball

Class A, third-team all-State in basketball.

Oh, and she does track also!

Fernholz finished 7th in the Class A 100 meter hurdles and tied for 3rd in the Class A high-jump. She also ran on competitive 400 and 800 relays at the state meet.

Erin Moncur:

Another multi-sport athlete for Miller, Moncur, a senior competed in both volleyball and basketball this year. After graduating, she finished her Rustler career in fine style, finishing 3rd in the Class B state golf tournament.
